We welcome you to the exciting, intensive 2-day dermatologic ultrasound course “Sono-Derm”, hosted in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

You will discover a challenging university city, the capital of legendary Transylvania, located in the middle of the country, surrounded by the Carpathian Mountains. Cluj–Napoca enjoys and embraces its historical past, but also celebrates change and welcomes modernity.

The “Sono-Derm”organizers have set up an attractive agenda on the role of high frequency ultrasound in Dermatology. The course offers a collaborative setting in which expert lecturers and participants can share their knowledge and learn from one another. In addition, the hands-on workshops are opportunities to explore“in real time” the largest and single totally exposed superficial organ of our body. The goal of the experts is to provide training and updates in building an accurate, non invasive assessment of the integumentary system.

In your free time between the sessions, or after the scientific program, it is strongly recommended to explore the city and its surroundings. You will be fascinated by the museums, opera house, Romanian, Hungarian and German cathedrals, all of them symbols of Transylvanian communities. The salt mine and the old castles and manors around Cluj may also be interesting places to visit.

Do not hesitate to try the Romanian cuisine with its traditional wineries and restaurants.

Continuous Medical Education: An application has been made to the EACCME for CME accreditation of this event.

Participation Certificate: Each participant will receive a Certificate of attendance, which can be picked-up from the Secretariat Desk, starting from February 23st, at 13 o’clock.

Program Handbook

Each participant will receive from the Secretariat Desk the Program Handbook.
Program Handbook includes course and partner materials.

Course Access: For access in the course room you will be using the badge which you will receive after registering at the Secretariat Desk. Participants will choose their seats on “first come, first serve” basis. Therefore, we recommend to plan for an early arrival at the premises.

Information for Speakers: There will be accepted for presentation only the digital materials which respect the technical specifications agreed upon registration. The materials need to be dropped at the Info Stand at least 3 hours before the time scheduled for your presentation.

Not being able to respect the technical specifications or the time limit could have a negative impact on your presentation.

Catering: Participants will serve the coffee breaks/lunch in the designated spaces, as detailed in the Program Handbook.
